This is a really great alternative snack to nuts or crackers. Lots of flavour and good for you to boot! I will say that if I’m making these for more than just my family, I need to triple the recipe. They go fast!
Ingredients
1 can chick peas, drained and rinsed
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Dry the chick peas on a paper towel. Combine all ingredients and toss gently with spoon in a bowl. Spread the chick peas in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in oven for 35 minutes. Chick peas should be crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside.
